Turns

Hey y’all. Turns are something I’ve always struggled with. I’ve asked so many teachers for advice and nothing seems to work. I can hold a balance for a pretty long time but once I go into that turn I start falling over. I’ve tried the obvious things like tuck pelvis, engage core, lean towards the direction I’m falling, etc. if anyone has had a similar problem or has any advice please leave it in the comments. Thanks!

a lot of it is also knowing where ur weight needs to be on ur foot, which differs for people for different bodies. the golden standard is over the big toe but the exact pinpoint will be different for everyone. something that worked for me was to feel the ball of my foot pushing away the floor to help me extend all the way thru my turns. im starting my first semester for a bfa in a month so i dont rlly have professional advice i could give rn and im sorry abt that

How do I turn off the "Level-Up-Advisor" and dance?

I DO NOT mean the SKILL Advisor, but the thing that forces me to dance and to tend to Attribute points , because it will bind to "E" no matter what.
And if somehow possible I'd like to turn off the rewards to.

Impulse dance needs to turn off their sign at night

Just watched another fender bender due to the random flashing from their sign. Why is it necessary to advertise in full LED 24/7 on one of the busiest corners in town. Seriously Impulse, chill tf out on the sign.

I’ve been working on that road at night for 4 years 5 days a week and I tbh I rarely notice the sign.
I’m not trying to be confrontational, I just don’t think the sign is the problem. Yeah it’s super bright. No it’s never blinded me to the point where I can’t see ahead of me, to the left or right, or behind me.
What people really need to do is simply pay attention while driving.

Dance workout class in panhandle?

I see a big workout group dancing in the Panhandle (at Clayton) on Saturday mornings. I think their sign says “Turn Up” but I can’t find info online. They look like a blast - anyone know who runs them and how to sign up?
Guessing they may well shut down after this weekend but interested once orders get eased again.

i don’t recall her ever having this on her dances, i know in this video she prob just learned it but if she practiced more it would’ve been a great addition!!

She did that turn in “Send Down Your Love” and she did do the turn in “What Goes Around” in the full solo but that part wasn’t shown in the show.
